DENVER ANIMAL FOUNDATION GRANT NEW!
Reimbursement For Medical & Fostering Expenses For Dogs Released From Denver Animal Shelter After September 2, 2011.
$200 Per Rescue - Maximum Of 1 Dog Per Rescue
Grant requirement: To qualify for this grant, the rescue must have volunteered for at least one (1) ABRN event over the past 12 months, or will volunteer for the Plum Creek Dog Show in 2012.

IMPORTANT: This grant has limited funds and will disappear quickly. The money will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, no exceptions. Please take advantage of these funds quickly to ensure future monies will be made available to ABRN.
Additional Grant Opportunity
ABRN has negotiated an agreement with the American Humane Association that allows our members to apply for Second Chance grants under ABRN’s AHA membership.
Each of our members can apply for up to $2000.00 a year to cover the expenses necessary to get rescue dogs ready for adoption. Each animal requires a separate application so you would only use this for extraordinary medical requirements.
The Second Chance application is on the AHA website under Protecting Animals > Shelter Professionals.
Where it asks for your AHA membership number, write ABRN Member.
Where it asks for a news source, write Channel 9, Denver, CO. Petline 9.
If you have your own 501C3, use it. If you need ours, contact Martha Smith or Susan Lummanick. Please call Martha if you have difficulty negotiating the AHA website.
